Quartz is a modular approach to a casting bar addon. An overview of (hopefully most of) the modules:
*Player
The core of Quartz is lightweight implementation of a standard casting bar, with configurable size, text and icon positioning, and colors.
*Target/Focus
Implementation of target and focus casting bars in similar fashion to the player cast bar.
*Buffs
Display of target and focus buffs and debuffs as duration bars using the new API introduced in patch 2.1.
*Flight
Hooks into FlightMap or InFlight to display the current flight progress on your casting bar.
*Global Cooldown
Displays a tiny spark-bar to show your Global Cooldown near the cast bar. Helpful for those who'd rather not squint at their action bars to see when they can cast again.
*Interrupt
Changes the color and text of your casting bar to help show that your cast has been interrupted (and show who interrupted it).
*Latency
Displays the amount of time spent between cast send and start events, in the form of a bar at the end of your casting bar, with optional text that displays the actual duration of the lag. This helps in canceling casts when they will not actually be interrupted, especially for users with consistently high pings.
*Mirror
Shows the 'basic' timers such as breath and feign death, as well as some 'odd' ones such as party invite time, resurrect timeout, and arena game start, and a framework for injecting custom timers into the bars.
*Range
Recolors the casting bar when your cast target moves out of range mid-cast.
*Swing
Displays a swing timer for your melee weapon as well as hunter autoshot.
*Timer
Allows for creating custom timers displayed on the mirror bars.
*Tradeskill Merge
Merges multiple casts of the same tradeskill item into one big cast bar.

Quartz:
Ok i will copy my post from March 2014 as it was ignored on curse. Great addon but the only show in combat option is buggy i think. When i 1st get into a group the bar shows up and after leaving combat it sometimes stays shown. It also wigs out on my pally when changing specs it reverts back to the vengeance setting. Vengeance is kind of worthless to track but holy power is not.
To look at your real latency and adapt your gameplay to it. (e.g. shortcut a cast for moving without cancelling it)
Rogue spammer:
![Addon Addon](http://k18.kn3.net/76FE2164F.jpg)
To spam without annoying UI messages.
Omen:
To track my threat during the fight ! A good mage is a mage alive !
Recount:
To see what shame you can actually give your mates' mages ! And more seriously it's and incredible tool to know if you are under-performing and if you need to wake up and focus.
Needtoknow:
It displays your procs on your UI ! It shows their timers as bars ! That gives you more visibility on timing your CD usage properly.
Tellmewhen:
Useful for looking at buffs or debuffs on you, or on the target. You can also track you cooldowns.
Mage nuggets:
I only use it to display my stats in live on my UI. It's useful to verify that you have the maximum of SP possible when you use your Combustion.
Sexy cooldown:
Track your CD and ICD in real-time. I prefer using Heatsink for it.
Snowfallkeypress:
Trigger your spell when you press your keys and not when you release them, saving you some time.
Heatsink:
I use it to track my ICD.
Decursive:
To dispel magic and curses on my mates when it's needed. Works for all classes.
Cooldowns:
To see my cooldowns on my bar.
Ora3:
To track raid Cooldowns.
RangeDisplay:
To improve your placement during Encounters by showing you your range from different targets on Mouseover, Actual Target or Focus.
DBM:
I use DBM only for timers, I prefer using Tellmewhen for harming debuff, or other 'need-to-move-fast-things', it's less messy.
Besides these addons I use some UI addons such as Bartender and Tidyplates to improve my UI.
